On Thursday the 1st March 2018, our Year 5 learners lead the festivities as our school celebrated Dydd Gwyl Dewi in a School Eisteddfod.
The pupils in Year 5 shared the History of the Urdd and the National Eisteddfodau through song, poetry and dance. There were also art and writing competitions for each Year Group, where the standard was extremely high.
In the Foundation Phase the learners celebrated this special occasion by signing traditional Welsh songs and participating in the Jac Y Do traditional folk dance. The Foundation Phase identified winners in art and writing competitions.
